I was honored to read Being the BEST YOU. From the very first pages, I felt welcomed and supported — as if the book itself were a wise, compassionate friend walking beside me. Being the Best You presents a fantastic set of tools for anyone looking to improve their outlook on life. Whether new to personal growth techniques or a longtime practitioner.
Read from beginning to end or pick a chapter/exercise that speaks to you and dive in, the journal prompts and tools will guide you on a journey to create a personal development toolkit and ultimately realizations that allow one to shed limiting beliefs. The extensive content is tremendously beneficial for reflection, realization, visualization and changing your life for the better! The author presents a wake up call, an invitation to take a courageous step forward on journey to fulfilling life. I am happily letting go of longtime habits that no longer serve. Insightful and Timely, if you only read one book this year be sure it's Being the Best You!

Absolutely loved this! It starts off with a quintessential quote.

This book shows me, how to be my own best friend again. Practical and thought provoking - it gives one the tools to challenge thoughts - and inspiration, to begin the work of changing those thoughts. Life is what you make it - and you get out of life - what you put in. It cuts through all the stuff we do not need- to get you to what you do need. It reads in a gentle uplifting manner.

This guide is allowing me to wake, to my own vitality. I am worth it - and by doing the written exercises - I can feel myself getting into the right groove. Yay!

“This book was exactly the wake-up call I didn’t know I needed. It reminded me that this is my one and only beautiful life and I don’t have to settle for a compromised version of it. The author shows how easily we lose ourselves in stress, routine, and expectations—and how possible it is to reclaim our wellbeing with intention and compassion.

The self-inventory exercises, along with the Stress, Anxiety, and Burnout assessments, were especially eye-opening. As someone who has always been a yo-yo dieter — and is currently “up again”— seeing everything laid out so clearly helped me understand the deeper patterns behind how I treat my body and my time. For the first time, I feel like I’m addressing the root, not just the symptoms.

The author’s writing style is one of the things that makes this book so interesting and easy to read. She writes with a caring, gentle and completely non-judgmental tone. It feels less like being instructed and more like being guided by someone who genuinely understands.

One of the most meaningful messages in the book is that the health of our mind and body is our greatest asset — but only if we choose to treat it/them with real care. That truth hit home for me.

I’m truly looking forward to rereading and starting these exercises on January 1st as a reset—not a punishment, but a way to reconnect with myself and finally make choices that support the life I actually want.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, drained, or disconnected from your own wellbeing, this book is absolutely worth reading. It offers clarity without pressure, honesty without shame, and encouragement that feels real.
